RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform repairs, maintenance, and inspections of refrigerated containers and related equipment
- Diagnose mechanical or electrical irregularities, malfunctions, and breakdowns, and perform necessary repairs
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on transport refrigeration systems on trucks, trailers, and containers
- Repair and replace components of refrigeration units, including leak testing and work related to Freon systems
- Perform the safe recovery and disposal of refrigerants in accordance with applicable standards
- Ensure the proper functioning of temperature control systems to maintain optimal performance during transport
- Accurately complete work orders and document interventions, repairs, and technical information related to equipment
- Work safely, using ladders or mobile platforms as needed
- Collaborate with operators and the technical team to effectively resolve mechanical and operational issues
- Be available to work overtime as needed to meet operational requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in Refrigeration or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- 2 to 3 years of experience in transport refrigeration or maintenance, considered an asset
- Experience in mobile refrigeration repair and refrigeration system diagnostics, an asset
- Excellent knowledge of different types of industrial refrigeration
- Ability to work independently and solve technical problems in the field of refrigerated transport
- Valid driver's license
- Bilingualism (French/English) required. (English proficiency is required due to regular interactions with partners and/or clients outside Quebec.)

Education:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
Experience:
