MAG Solar is a growing solar energy company committed to delivering reliable renewable energy solutions. We're looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations and keep our projects moving.
Position Overview
The Warehouse Manager oversees day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping of solar equipment and materials. This role leads the warehouse team, maintains a safe and organized facility, and works closely with project and procurement teams to ensure materials are available when and where they're needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, staging, and shipping of solar panels, inverters, racking, and related materials
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts and audits
- Supervise, train, and schedule warehouse staff
- Coordinate with procurement and project teams to support installation schedules
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, compliant facility
- Operate and oversee the use of forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce loss or damage
- Manage relationships with carriers and coordinate inbound/outbound logistics
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse management or supervisory experience
- Safety training certification required — MAG Solar provides this training
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills
- Experience with inventory management software an asset
- Forklift certification an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
