Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces. This role is essential in providing a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are consistently met. Prior experience in hospitality or custodial services is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as towels and toiletries
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain a spotless environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Assist with deep cleaning projects and special sanitation tasks as needed
- Maintain organized storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, safe, and organized throughout the shift
Requirements
- Prior experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality is preferred; hotel or industrial cleaning experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties within scheduled timeframes
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Pay: $18.50-$19.50 per hour
