Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in irrigation systems, gardening, and landscape maintenance. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. The Irrigation Technician will work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
Duties
- Install and maintain various types of irrigation systems, including drip and sprinkler systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of existing irrigation systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Utilize excavators for trenching and installation of irrigation lines as needed.
- Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to ensure proper watering schedules are followed for gardens and lawns.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation and maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any recommendations for system improvements.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their irrigation needs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in irrigation installation and maintenance is preferred.
- Knowledge of gardening, horticulture, and landscape maintenance practices is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various irrigation components.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and excavation equipment is essential.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
