Concierge Supervisor
Location: North York, ON
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (40 hours per week)
Start Date: Monday, July 27
Pay: $20.50 to $21.50 per hour
Metro Protective Services is looking for a professional and dependable Concierge Supervisor to oversee front desk operations at a boutique condominium in North York.
This is a full time weekday position for someone who takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service, leads by example, and is comfortable managing the day to day operations of a busy residential property.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operation of the concierge desk.
- Provide professional and courteous service to residents, guests, contractors, and property management.
- Receive, organize, and distribute a high volume of resident packages.
- Monitor access to the building and ensure all security procedures are followed.
- Respond to resident inquiries and resolve concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Complete incident reports, daily logs, and shift reports as required.
- Work closely with property management and building staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Enforce building policies, procedures, and site protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk environment.
- Support and guide concierge staff while maintaining a high standard of service.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in the condominium concierge or security industry.
- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional appearance with exceptional customer service skills.
- Well spoken, personable, and confident communicating with residents, visitors, contractors, and property management.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of packages throughout the day.
- Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and remain composed in a busy environment.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn site specific systems and procedures.
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting pay of $20.50 to $21.50 per hour based on experience.
- Monday to Friday schedule with weekends off.
- Parking and public transit are both available at the site.
- Benefits may be offered after three months of service and will be discussed based on performance.
