About the Position
We are a growing real estate management company seeking a highly organized, reliable, and bilingual Property Manager / Administrative Coordinator to assist with the day-to-day management of a portfolio of residential and commercial properties throughout the Greater Montreal area.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both office administration and interacting with tenants. The successful candidate will be comfortable using technology, solving problems independently, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track maintenance requests from tenants.
- Communicate with tenants, contractors, and service providers.
- Schedule repairs and follow up to ensure work is completed.
- Prepare and process lease renewals.
- List available apartments on rental platforms and respond to inquiries.
- Schedule and conduct apartment showings.
- Screen prospective tenants and assist with application processing.
- Assist with rent collection follow-ups and basic accounts receivable.
- Perform light bookkeeping and administrative tasks.
- Maintain organized electronic tenant files and records.
- Assist with general office administration and special projects.
- Help ensure properties operate efficiently and tenants receive excellent service.
Qualifications
- Fluent in English and French (spoken and written).
- Strong computer skills and comfortable learning new software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Professional communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
- Experience in property management, administration, customer service, or accounting is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience with property management software is an asset.
