Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lumber Sales Associate to join our team. This role involves assisting customers with their lumber and woodworking needs, managing inventory, and ensuring smooth sales operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer sales experience, multi-tasking skills, time management skills, ability to process information quickly and precisely. Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing lumber and related building materials
- Operate forklifts and power tools safely to handle and move large quantities of wood products
- Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and organize warehouse space efficiently
- Use office tools, THEOS software,
- Prepare orders accurately using THEOS or other design software as needed for custom projects
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in the warehouse or office area
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely delivery of products and excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
- Prior experience working with warehouse inventory management systems is advantageous
- Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively within a team environment
