Requirements and Assets
- Kitchen and culinary experience is a requirement
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Able to communicate, read and write effectively in fluent English
- Ability to provide strong leadership skills to provide quality productivity and satisfaction in the team
- Knowledge of common kitchen practices and responsibilities is an asset
- Individual must possess or be willing to obtain Safe Food Handling Certification
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Position requires standing, bending, and walking throughout entire shifts
- Willing to work days, evening and weekend shifts
- The ideal candidate must be able to follow standard operating procedures with efficiency
- Must be able to maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage
