Health & Safety Coordinator to support site safety programs and promote a strong safety culture in a dynamic industrial environment for our client in Scarborough, ON. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with hands-on experience in safety compliance, audits, and training.
- Pay Rate: $65,000 - $80000/year (based on experience)

Responsibilities:
- Promote a safety-first culture across employees, subcontractors, and stakeholders
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments
- Ensure compliance with company policies, COR standards, and safety regulations
- Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
- Deliver safety training and coaching to employees and subcontractors
- Assist with JHSC meetings, reporting, and documentation
- Monitor contractor compliance and maintain safety records
- Support return-to-work programs and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications and Skills:
- Post-secondary education in Health & Safety or related field

3+ years of experience in a Health & Safety role (construction/industrial preferred)

Strong knowledge of OHSA, WHMIS, and safety legislation

Experience with COR audits and safety programs

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Valid driver's license and ability to travel to sites
