Overview
Jewish Community Campus of Ottawa Inc. is seeking an experienced custodian for a summer contract position - daytime and evening time shifts (Sun 8am-4:30pm, Mon-Thu 3pm-11:30pm). You will be part of our Campus In-House Custodial team. We are looking for a self-motivated, hard workers able to carry out physically demanding work.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- daily cleaning and sanitation of washrooms, kitchens, offices, classrooms, common areas, and stairwells.
- Floor Care: vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, carpet extraction as needed
- waste and recycling removal.
- stock replenishing and supply management.
- Event Support: set-up and tear-down for community events, gym activities, and social functions.
- Emergency Support: assistance during floods, blocked toilets, and maintenance emergencies.
- other duties as assigned.
Light-duty maintenance experience is an asset.
Qualifications and Skills
- must be able to speak English.
- must be able to lift/carry 50 lbs.
- must provide a clear Police Criminal Background check.

Pay: $19.20 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
