We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Sterilization Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and sterility of medical instruments and equipment, supporting the overall quality standards of our facility. Prior experience with medical terminology is preferred, but training will be provided for qualified applicants committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sterilization.
Duties
- Operate sterilization equipment such ultrasonic cleaners and sterilizers according to established protocols.
- Inspect, assemble, and package medical instruments for sterilization processes.
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles.
- Follow strict infection control procedures to prevent cross-contamination.
- Ensure all sterilization procedures comply with regulatory standards and association policies.
- Assist in the cleaning and disinfecting of work areas and sterilization equipment.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments for surgical procedures.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of medical terminology is highly desirable to facilitate understanding of procedures and documentation, but can be trained.
- Previous experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and consistently.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
