The childcare centre in Oliver and is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team. This position is Monday to Friday, break coverage position, 3 hours per day.
You will have experience working with young children, and a passion for providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children of different ages.
- Observe and document children’s progress and communicate with parents.
- Ensure children’s safety and well-being at all times.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Infant/ Toddler Certification an asset, but not necessary.
- Knowledge of child development and appropriate programming for children of different ages.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
