Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Registered Dental Hygienist to join our reputable dental practice. Duties
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Provide oral health education and personalized care instructions to patients of all ages, including pediatrics
- Assist with patient examinations and record keeping using Dentrix or similar dental management software
- Support the dentist during procedures, including preparation and sterilization of instruments
- Manage patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and ensure a smooth flow of daily operations
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and medical histories using appropriate medical terminology
- Foster a welcoming environment by delivering excellent customer service and addressing patient concerns
Experience
- Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations
- Previous experience working in a dental office setting is preferred, especially with pediatric patients or orthodontics
- Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is highly desirable
- Knowledge of orthodontics procedures and pediatric dentistry is a plus
- Bilingual skills are advantageous for serving diverse patient populations
- Experience with dental assisting tasks, understanding of medical terminology, and strong customer service skills are beneficial for success in this role
Pay: $55.00-$61.32 per hour
