We are currently hiring Warehouse/Forklift Operators (Counterbalance + Reach) in Richmond, BC. This role offers consistent hours, potential overtime, and a safe, team-oriented work environment.
Location: Richmond, BC
Shifts Available: 8 am to 4:30 pm OR 12 pm to 8:30 pm (Monday to Friday) - Must be comfortable with both shifts.
Pay rate- $22 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Operate High Reach Truck (90% general labor, 10% forklift operation)
- Load and unload materials from flatbed trailers, containers, and rail cars
- Handle lumber and large commodity products safely
- Perform manual unloading when required
- Communicate with inbound drivers to verify paperwork, appointments, and quantities
- Coordinate with outbound drivers to confirm trailer numbers and Bills of Lading (BOLs)
- Use RF scanners and warehouse systems to track inventory
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of High Reach Truck and Counterbalance experience in a similar role
- Valid certification for High Reach Truck and Counterbalance forklift
- Comfortable with general labor and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and safety procedures
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Good communication skills and teamwork
