Position Summary
The Student Success Coordinator supports students throughout their academic journey by coordinating student administration, academic operations, scheduling, attendance, and student engagement activities. Working closely with faculty, administration, and campus leadership, this role helps ensure students receive timely support while maintaining accurate records and efficient academic processes.
Key Responsibilities
Student Administration & Records Management
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date student records in accordance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support the Administration Manager and Campus Operations Lead in maintaining student administration processes and procedures.
- Process student admissions, transfers, withdrawals, program changes, and graduation documentation.
- Maintain student files and ensure all documentation is complete and compliant.
- Prepare reports and maintain data integrity across student information systems.
Student Support & Success
- Serve as a primary point of contact for student inquiries and provide timely support.
- Guide students regarding institutional policies, procedures, and available support services.
- Monitor student progress and escalate concerns to appropriate departments when necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of student interactions and support activities.
- Contribute to student retention initiatives and promote a positive student experience.
Scheduling & Academic Coordination
- Coordinate class schedules, student timetables, examinations, and classroom assignments.
- Maintain course offerings and scheduling within the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Coordinate student enrollments, class rosters, and program scheduling.
- Support instructors with course start-up activities and classroom logistics.
- Collaborate with academic departments to ensure efficient program delivery.
Attendance Management
- Monitor student attendance and maintain accurate attendance records.
- Contact students regarding attendance concerns and document follow-up activities.
- Support attendance improvement initiatives and identify students requiring additional support.
- Escalate ongoing attendance concerns to campus leadership when appropriate.
Learning Management System (LMS) Administration
- Maintain courses, student enrollments, and class information within the LMS.
- Ensure course materials, schedules, and assessments remain accurate and current.
- Provide basic technical support for LMS users.
- Support reporting and data accuracy within academic systems.
Student Engagement & Campus Activities
- Coordinate student orientation, onboarding activities, and graduation-related events.
- Organize workshops and student engagement initiatives that promote academic success.
- Support communication between students, faculty, and administrative departments.
- Assist with campus events and student recognition activities.
Process Improvement & Quality Assurance
- Review administrative processes and recommend operational improvements.
- Assist with developing and maintaining standardized procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and student satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Postsecondary education in Business Administration, Education, Student Services, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience in academic administration, student services, or post-secondary education.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Surrey, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
