Overview
The Bay Coders is looking for a motivated and organized Community Outreach Assistant to help strengthen relationships with our community and support company outreach programs. In this role, you will assist with events, communicate with community partners, and help promote our technology initiatives. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and supporting meaningful projects.
Duties
- Assist with planning and organizing community outreach events and activities.
- Communicate with community members, partners, and local organizations.
- Help promote company programs through presentations, events, and online communication.
- Maintain outreach records, schedules, and project documentation.
- Support volunteer and participant coordination for community initiatives.
- Prepare reports and track outreach activities.
- Assist with creating promotional materials and community updates.
- Work with team members to improve community engagement and partnerships.
Experience
- Previous experience in community outreach, administration, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational and time management abilities.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Public speaking or presentation experience is an asset.
- Marketing or event coordination experience is considered an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Pay: $19.22-$35.18 per hour
