Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Part-Time Cleaning and Food Prep Associate to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness standards and assisting with food preparation in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent attention to detail, and a positive attitude. Prior experience in food handling or restaurant settings is a plus but not required. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food safety, meal preparation, and customer service while contributing to a welcoming and efficient operation.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties to ensure the kitchen, dining area, and food prep stations are hygienic and organized
- Assist with food preparation tasks including chopping, assembling ingredients, and basic cooking under supervision
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
- Prepare ingredients for meal service, ensuring timely readiness for cooking or serving
- Support the team during busy periods by helping with serving customers and maintaining a clean environment
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to food safety and sanitation protocols
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or kitchen environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food handling, meal preparation, and basic cooking techniques is advantageous
- Familiarity with food safety standards within the food industry is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks effectively
