Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, managing cash transactions, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued. The successful candidate will contribute to an enjoyable guest experience while maintaining high standards of professionalism and hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner, taking orders, providing recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cashiering duties with accuracy and integrity.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve multiple guests promptly without compromising quality.
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent hospitality service in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a bar, restaurant or food service setting is a must.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests of diverse backgrounds.
- SMART SERVE at least 4 years
- Food handler Certificate of at least 2 years.
- Knowledge of a variety of games is a plus
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
