Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments tailored to client preferences
- Provide excellent customer service by understanding client needs and offering personalized recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all workstations and tools in accordance with health regulations
- Upsell retail products to clients to support their hair care needs and increase salon revenue
- Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and processing payments
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure a positive experience and foster long-term relationships
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and salon products through ongoing education and training
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role within a salon environment
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients
- Proficiency in hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, and styling tools
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards in a salon setting
- Excellent communication skills for effective client consultation and team collaboration
- Ability to upsell retail products naturally during service interactions
- Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is preferred but not required
- Valid cosmetology license
