Job Title: General Labourer
Job Description
The General Labourer will be required to perform tasks involving physical labor at a manufacturing plant and operate a variety of hand and power tools. Responsibilities will include the assembly of products using automated assembly equipment and robotic weld cells. The General Labourer will be responsible for the efficient production of products according to established procedures, following all safety protocols and workplace policies.
Responsibilities

Inspect and check parts for defects.

Operate and tend automated assembling equipment such as robotic and fixed automation equipment.

Operate small hand tools such as grinders and buffing wheels.

Document, record, and report defects.

Adhere to all relevant safety legislation under the OHSA and company safety policies.

Clean and perform preparation of the work-site.
Essential Skills-
General labor experience.

Production experience.
-
Experience with hand tools and power tools.

6+ months of manufacturing/assembly experience, particularly in Automotive or Manufacturing sectors.

Experience with automated assembling equipment.

Experience with grinders and buffing wheels.

Ability to lift up to 30lbs.

Ability to stand constantly and work with assembly and robotics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications-
Experience with quality inspection and checking parts for defects.

Work Environment
The work environment includes competitive compensation with a wage of $19.55/hr plus shift premiums for afternoon ($0.30) and night shifts ($0.45). You will undergo training on the day shift for 1-2 weeks before transitioning to either afternoon or midnight shifts. Be prepared to work flexible hours, with shifts available from 7am-3pm (Days), 3pm-11pm (Afternoons), and 11pm-7am (Nights).
