The applicant must be able to do heavy lifting, work well in a team environment, communicate effectively and efficiently with other workers, ability to work long hours or early mornings, late afternoons, and weekends if required, ability to work outdoors in ALL weather conditions.
The main duties that will be required of the applicant are:
- Manage the overall operations of a farm；
- Determine the amount and kinds of crops to be grown；
- Organize and co-ordinate planting, cultivating and crop harvesting activities；
- Hire and manage farm personnel；
- Develop and keep financial and production records；
- Purchase farm machinery, seed and other supplies；
- Maintain farm machinery, equipment and buildings；
- Perform farming duties.
