Schedule: Evenings — 1‑hour shifts, 3x weekly: Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday, 9:00–10:00 PM. Availability for days, evenings and weekends for short or long visits is an asset.
Job Description:
Right at Home Etobicoke North is seeking a reliable, professional Part‑Time PSW/Caregiver to join our team. You will provide in‑home care and companionship to older adults and adults with disabilities, supporting their independence and quality of life. Candidates must live in Etobicoke and be available for scheduled evening shifts (Tue/Wed/Sat 9–10 PM) and occasional day/evening/weekend visits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing
- Mobility assistance: transfers, turning, walking, exercises
- Toileting and feeding/meal preparation
- Companionship and escorted outings
- Deliver specialty care as required (e.g., Alzheimer’s, dementia, chronic conditions)
- Work independently while coordinating with the care team
Qualifications:
- MUST live in Etobicoke
- PSW certification or equivalent
- Current standard first aid and CPR
- Clean Police Criminal Reference Check
- Updated immunizations
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Physically and mentally able to meet caregiving demands
- Reliable travel to client homes
