We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join a dynamic team of HR professionals. You will serve as a strategic partner to management, providing guidance and support in various HR functions. Your expertise will help foster a positive work environment, enhance employee engagement, and drive organizational effectiveness.
Duties
- Collaborate with management to develop HR strategies that align with business objectives.
- Provide support in employee relations, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts effectively.
- Oversee training development initiatives to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Implement process improvement strategies to streamline HR processes and enhance service delivery.
- Conduct regular assessments of HR policies and practices to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
- Manage and maintain positive labor relations within a union environment
- Assist with negotiations and administration collective bargaining agreements
- Address and resolve employee grievances and disputes an efficient manner
- Analyze workforce data to identify trends and make informed recommendations for talent management.
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment of new employees
- Assist with payroll duties
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
- 5+ years HR experience, preferably in a senior role, with focus on union and non-union environments
- Proven experience in an HR business partner role or similar capacity.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations practices and conflict resolution techniques.
- Strong strategic EVP and EX experience
- Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems ie ADP-WFN Time and Attendance
- Experience in training development and process improvement initiatives is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Previous manufacturing and packaging industry
- Unionized environment

Pay: $85,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
