Overview
PKF Antares is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Business Development Associate to join our Calgary team. This role plays an important part in supporting the firm’s growth by identifying new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and contributing to strategic marketing and sales initiatives.

Duties
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, market research, referrals, and outreach initiatives.
- Support the development and execution of business development strategies to expand the firm’s client base and strengthen existing relationships.
- Coordinate meetings, presentations, and introductory discussions with prospective clients and partners.
- Assist with proposal preparation, client follow-ups, and sales pipeline management.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities, and business development activities using CRM tools.
- Collaborate with internal teams on marketing campaigns, events, and initiatives to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, partners, and community stakeholders.
- Monitor industry trends, market activity, and competitor developments to identify growth opportunities.
- Support special projects and strategic initiatives related to firm growth and client engagement.
Qualifications & Skills

Requirements
- 1 - 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles within a competitive industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals effectively.
- Excellent project management abilities to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Knowledge of marketing principles and experience working with marketing campaigns.
- Familiarity with business development strategies, market analysis, and lead generation techniques.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
