Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook with minimum 2 years of experience to join our vibrant culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items with precision and consistency, following established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to prevent cross-contamination and ensure freshness
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation during busy service hours
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality and safety of all dishes
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations
- Support the team in maintaining a positive, professional work environment focused on customer satisfaction
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years prior experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and meal preparation techniques is advantageous
- Experience with serving customers directly or working in a fast-paced kitchen environment is a plus
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, cooking methods, and basic food safety practices is desirable
