What You'll Be Doing
- Operate a Class 1 tractor-trailer on open board freight across a mix of lanes, loads, and customers
- Run loaded, empty, and bobtail miles while maintaining full compliance on cross-border CAN/US freight movement
- Keep your equipment inspection-ready and maintain a clean, professional safety record
- Manage your own schedule and trip planning as an independent Owner Operator within a supported dispatch structure
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of one year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- Clean commercial driver's abstract with an excellent safety record
- Ability to clear a criminal record check
- A tractor that is a 2018 model year or newer with a fully functioning DEF system
- Comfort and willingness operating cross-border, CAN/US open board freight
- Compensation & Work Model
- CA$250,000 to CA$255,000 per year, built on $1.24 per mile for all loaded, empty, or bobtail miles, plus additional pay and fuel subsidy for tri-axle equipment and paid assessorial pay. Licensing and insurance are provided at zero cost to the Owner Operator. Work model: On the road, open board.
Location & Travel
Based out of a terminal in the Aberfoyle, Ontario area. Regular cross-border travel between Canada and the United States is required.
