Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Residential Cleaner to join our team. In this role you will maintain the cleanliness and organization of private homes, creating a welcoming and hygienic environment for our clients. What You Will Be Doing
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing all areas of residential properties
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living spaces to our standards
- Manage laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with care and efficiency
- Keep your cleaning supplies and equipment organized, stocked, and safe for each job
- Communicate clearly with clients to understand their specific needs and preferences, and provide excellent customer service
- Follow our cleaning system, checklists, and safety procedures so that hygiene and safety standards are met every time
- Assist with light household tasks such as organizing spaces or preparing areas for special occasions when required
- Manage your schedule effectively so assigned jobs are completed on time without cutting corners on quality
- Work efficiently both independently and alongside team members
Position Requirements
- Fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in French is a valuable asset for communicating with our clients
- A valid Ontario driver's licence and reliable access to a vehicle, with the minimum insurance coverage we require
- Ability to pass a criminal record check (CPIC)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact positively with clients in their homes
- Dependable, organized, and punctual
- Strong time management skills so multiple appointments can be completed on schedule throughout the day
- Physically able to perform cleaning duties throughout the day
- Comfortable working in homes with pets
- Eager to learn and grow with our company
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in residential cleaning or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory. Training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, laundry processes, and basic household organization methods
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a proactive approach to work
Schedule
- Part-time, casual, and on-call
- Day shifts only, approximately 8:30 am to 3:00 pm
- Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend opportunities available
- Hours vary week to week based on booking volume and your submitted availability. This position has no guaranteed minimum or maximum hours
Pay
$23 per hour to start, with scheduled wage reviews as outlined above.
