About the role
Ocean Ridge Group is a paper trading company based in Vaughan. We source specialty paper material from manufacturers and distribute it to buyers globally. We're looking for a Sales & Outreach Representative to help us grow our network of suppliers.
No prior industry experience required — we provide full training. This is a great fit for someone who's a strong communicator, comfortable picking up the phone, and enjoys research, outreach, and relationship-building.
Responsibilities
- Make cold calls, send cold emails, and reach out via LinkedIn to potential suppliers daily
- Research and identify paper manufacturers that fit our sourcing needs
- Schedule and coordinate introductory meetings
- Support ongoing communication with existing suppliers
- Maintain organized records of outreach and contacts
Requirements
- Excellent written and spoken English — this role involves daily communication with suppliers and requires clear, professional correspondence
- Comfortable making cold calls and sending cold emails — this is a core part of the job
- Organized and able to manage multiple contacts and follow-ups
- Self-motivated and reliable
- Sales or customer service experience is an asset but not required
