Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Backhoe/Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating related heavy equipment, and will be responsible for various tasks related to excavation and construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Operate backhoes and excavators to excavate, move, and grade earth.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
- Safely transport materials using the backhoe.
- Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors.
- Ensure worksite safety and adhere to all safety regulations.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in backhoe, excavator operation and heavy equipment operation.
- Knowledge of Case machinery and other relevant equipment.
- Ability to build, bulldoze, dig, pave, and perform horizontal drilling as needed.
- Familiarity with grader operation is a plus.
- Commercial driving experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols.
