Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Daytime Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment while assisting with food preparation for our restaurant establishment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness, food handling, and supporting kitchen operations during daytime hours.
The position runs from June 29th to October 31st.
35 to 45 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and basic cooking under supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen work area, including counters, sinks, and storage spaces.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance.
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by helping with food service and other duties as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to promote a safe working environment.
Skills
- Experience in cleaning and maintaining sanitation standards in a restaurant.
- Previous restaurant or hotel experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment during daytime hours.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
