We are looking for a customer-focused Service Advisor to support our Service Department at Scarboro Subaru. If you’re organized, confident with automotive basics, and thrive in a busy environment, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
- Greet customers, document concerns, and open repair orders accurately
- Explain repairs, timelines, and pricing clearly — and obtain proper approvals
- Schedule appointments and keep customers updated throughout the repair
- Ensure walkarounds and multi-point inspections (MPI) are completed and documented
- Coordinate with Technicians, Parts, and the Shop Dispatcher to keep work moving
- Review and close work orders with accurate documentation
- Support CSI, reduce comebacks, and keep service operations running smoothly
- Follow dealership policies, manufacturer guidelines, and OHSA/AODA requirements
What You Bring
- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume service environment
- Comfort discussing maintenance and repair recommendations professionally
- Professionalism and discretion with customer and dealership information
Requirements
- Valid Ontario G licence + clean driver’s abstract
- Automotive service knowledge (hands-on or advisor experience is an asset)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 70 lbs occasionally
- Experience with Dealer software (PBS) is preferred
