Community Disability Support Worker Job Description
CDSW, Community Disability Support Worker, is a front-line role that has responsibility to follow through with all governing bodies such as; Disability Services (PDD), OHS, WCB, ACDS, Office of the Public Guardian/Trustee and Private Guardians. Support and facilitate the development of skills and competencies that will assist persons with disabilities/designated as complex needs(Complex service needs are defined as Individuals who are eligible for services from the PDD program and pose a significant risk, and/or are destructive to themselves, others or property and they require intensive services) to pursue and fulfill their goals, objectives and aspirations.
Current positions
- Every other weekend Fri 6pm-Mon 8a
-Every other weekend Sat 12p-6p and Sun 12p-6p
-Blended nights 2on 2off 3on 3off, with every other weekend off. 6pm-8am
✦ Criminal Record Check, valid drivers license and 2 million liability on insurance is required prior to commencement of employment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.50-$25.67 per hour
