About Us
Platinum Physiotherapy is a busy multidisciplinary rehabilitation clinic located in Brampton. We provide evidence-based physiotherapy, massage therapy, chiropractic care, and rehabilitation services in a professional and patient-focused environment. We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Physiotherapy Assistant to join our growing team.
Job Duties
- Assist physiotherapists with implementing treatment plans under supervision
- Prepare and set up treatment areas and rehabilitation equipment
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and stretching programs
- Monitor and assist patients during exercise and rehabilitation sessions
- Clean and maintain treatment rooms and equipment according to clinic protocols
- Maintain inventory of clinic and therapy supplies
- Assist with patient scheduling and clinic flow when required
- Document patient progress notes and treatment activities as instructed
- Support patients with mobility, transfers, and exercise techniques
- Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming clinic environment
Requirements
- Completion of a Physiotherapy Assistant/Occupational Therapy Assistant program OR related healthcare education preferred
- Previous experience in a physiotherapy or rehabilitation clinic is an asset. Also willing to train right candidate with no experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Energetic, compassionate, and patient-focused attitude
- Ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends as required
- Knowledge of exercise therapy and rehabilitation techniques is an asset
