Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in barbering and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients. As a Barber, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services while also promoting additional services and products to enhance the customer experience.
Duties
- Perform haircuts, beard trims, and other grooming services with precision and attention to detail.
- Sanitate tools and work areas to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring satisfaction with each service.
- Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, checking clients in and out, and handling payments.
- Stay updated on current trends in hair styling techniques and products to provide informed recommendations to clients.
- Build lasting relationships with clients through excellent customer service and follow-up communication.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years barbering experience
- Must be able to complete a haircut in 30 minutes
- Must be proficient in scissor and clipper work, including tapers, fades, medium length scissor cuts, back of neck shaves with a straight razor, and more.
- Proven experience in barbering, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
- A friendly demeanor with a passion for the beauty industry and helping others look their best.
