Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. This individual must thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in their workmanship, attention to safety and desire to support our team. The position reports directly to the onsite Management Team, however, the applicant must possess the ability to be a self sufficient team member and sometimes work unsupervised, whether that be in the shop or providing mobile service in the field, this position requires a motivated individual that functions in all environments.

Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance and service on all equipment and company vehicles
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and hydraulic issues using tools and diagnostic software
- Perform and document CVIP inspections on all relevant equipment and vehicles
- Maintain accurate service records, including hours, mileage, and repair history
- Work with Dispatch to ensure scheduled and timely maintenance and repairs are performed as required to keep our fleet ready to serve our customers 24/7.
- Work Independently in the Field as well as part of of a bigger team where required such as wreck recoveries and shop tasks
Requirements
Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic certification
Weekend / On-Call availability as needed
Physically able to complete all required work and tasks of a HD tech/mechanic
Strong command of the English language, spoken, reading & writing
Valid CVIP License or willingness to obtain ( Shop is Certified CVIP Facility )
Strong working knowledge of hydraulic systems
Valid Drivers License & Clean Drivers abstract
Class 1/3 License considered a strong asset ( Employer willing to train the right candidate )
Must be able to reliably commute or relocate to Banff, AB – Staff Accommodation available for the right candidate.
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive salary based on experience $45 - $55hr ( Experience & Skill Based )
There is a $2000 sign on bonus for a qualified applicant that meets the needs of our team.
