The Kingston ReStore is looking for candidates for 2 positions this summer.
Location: 607 Gardiners Rd, Kingston, Ontario
Start Date: June or July 2026
What You’ll Do
- Provide friendly, helpful customer service at the cash, on the sales floor, and in the donation area
- Assist with pricing, stocking, merchandising, and general store organization
- Receive, inspect, and process donations for quality, safety, and resale suitability
- Load and unload donations and customer purchases
- Clean and test items, remove donor labels/UPCs, and prepare items for the sales floor
- Maintain a safe, tidy, and efficient work environment
- Support volunteers and contribute to a positive team culture
- Follow health and safety procedures and report hazards or incidents
What We’re Looking For
- Retail, warehouse, or customer service experience is an asset
- A driver's license is an asset
- Experience in sales is an asset
- Experience with social media marketing is an asset
- Positive attitude, reliability, and strong teamwork skills
- Comfortable with physical tasks and fast-paced environments
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Interest in reuse, sustainability, and community building
- Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends
- CSA-approved safety footwear (required)
