Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Food Truck Staff to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional food service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Ideal candidates will have a passion for the food industry, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to menu specifications while maintaining quality standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Manage cash transactions accurately and handle customer payments with professionalism
- Serve customers efficiently, taking orders, upselling menu items, and providing friendly service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Uphold sanitation standards by adhering to proper hygiene practices during all food preparation and service activities
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operation
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and food service environments, preferably in a restaurant or food truck setting
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient order processing
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously during peak hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Cash handling experience with accuracy in math calculations for transactions and change-making
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures within the food industry
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in serving, cashiering, or kitchen roles is highly desirable
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure
