Synergy Protection Group Inc. is looking for dedicated and professional Retail Security Guards to join our team and help ensure a safe and welcoming environment for our retail clients in the Greater Toronto Area.
SCHEDULE FT/PT/CASUALS
The Role
As a Retail Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure and orderly retail environment. Your presence, professionalism, and proactive approach will help prevent incidents while supporting a positive shopping experience for customers and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a visible and professional security presence to deter theft and disruptive behavior.
- Monitor store premises using surveillance systems and regular patrols.
- Greet and assist customers, offering directions and answering inquiries.
- Report and document incidents, maintenance issues, or safety hazards.
- Collaborate with store staff and management to address security concerns.
- Ensure compliance with store policies and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Minimum of 1 year of retail security experience
- Minimum of 1 year security experience
- Strong observation and communication skills
- Professional attitude and reliable attendance
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
