Summary
Join Samsung Electronics as a Quality Assurance Team Lead in Canada to help ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge technology development within a globally renowned company.
Responsibilities
- Delegate tasks out on the floor for the supervisor
- Assist with training new associates
- Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area. Maintains truck or van by completing preventive maintenance requirements; arranging for repairs.
- Arrange shipments by examining destination, route, rate, delivery time; dispatches to carriers
- Operate powered industrial lift trucks (MHE/forklift) and order picker to push, pull, lift, stack or move product, equipment, and materials
- Conduct inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process, and finished products according to company standards and regulatory requirement
- Document inspection results by completing reports, logging data, and maintaining records
- Identify and report any deviations from quality standards, ensuring timely corrective actions are taken
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and provide input for corrective measures

- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and guidelines
- Ensure that laboratory and testing equipment are maintained, calibrated, and functioning properly
- Conduct audits and rework of production processes to ensure compliance with established quality control procedures
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities for product defects
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency
- Communicate quality issues to relevant departments and participate in team meetings to discuss solutions
- Adhering to safety Regulations ensuring that quality control activities are carried out safely and in compliance with relevant Company regulations and policy
- Qualifications
- - High School Degree or Equivalent, and/or experience in logistics or transportation industry or equivalent with minimum 1 years’ work experience in Logistics or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Must Speak Korean & English
- Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as blueprints, specifications, and test reports
- Familiarity with quality control tools and methodologies
- Basic understanding of statistical analysis and data collection
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to work in a team environment.
