The Knox Employment Entry (KEE) Program assists individuals in developing the skills, confidence, and connections needed to secure meaningful employment. We work closely with participants, employers, and community partners to support successful employment outcomes.
Job Summary
Reporting to the Executive Director and Staff Director, the Client Coordinator & Employment Facilitator is responsible for coordinating program operations, supporting participants throughout their employment journey, developing relationships with employers and community agencies, and assisting clients in achieving successful employment outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational, administrative, and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and database management systems.
- Experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and varying employment barriers.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Services, Education, Community Development, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Experience in employment services, workforce development, case management, recruitment, program coordination, or a related field is considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate participant intake, orientation, and employment readiness activities.
- Provide one-on-one employment coaching, mentorship, and participant support.
- Develop and maintain relationships with employers, community partners, and referral agencies.
- Support job development, job placement, and participant retention activities.
- Maintain accurate client records, case notes, reports, and statistical information.
- Monitor participant progress and communicate with referral agencies and caseworkers.
- Coordinate program marketing, outreach, and community engagement activities.
- Facilitate workshops and information sessions as needed.
- Represent KEE at meetings, networking events, and community initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
