Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will lead a team of production staff, ensure safety and quality standards are met, and optimize production efficiency. This role is vital in maintaining smooth workflow, fostering a productive work environment, and ensuring that all production goals are achieved effectively and safely.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production team members to meet daily operational targets.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are upheld and identify areas for improvement.
- Train new employees on operational procedures, safety guidelines, and company policies.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching or corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation for management review.
- Assist in planning shift schedules, resource allocation, and workflow adjustments to optimize productivity.
Experience
- Must Have 3 to 4 years of experience
- Proven experience in manufacturing or production supervision, preferably within a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with staff, management, and other departments.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma is desirable.
- Ability to analyze operational data, identify inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions.
- Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and troubleshooting techniques is a plus.
