Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Class 1 Truck Driver can/ USA to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating heavy-duty trucks to transport freight across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle freight with care. Experience with heavy equipment operation, forklift operation, and automotive repair is considered a plus. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks to transport freight over short and long distances
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with company policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and issues
- Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to ensure vehicle functionality
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with clean driving record with M mention
- Experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields preferred
- Knowledge of forklift operation and heavy equipment handling is advantageous
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting is a plus
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and traffic regulations
- Excellent communication skills and reliability in meeting delivery deadlines

Pay: $90,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
