We are currently looking for a RELIEF 20 foot truck driver to haul mail from Canada Post in Ottawa to various outlying locations
No guaranteed schedule at this time. Would be hired to cover vacation and time off. Could remain as a relief driver; or would be given first opportunity for part time or full time schedule as it arises.
Split shift daily morning run then evening collections bring return product to Canada Post.
**Paid a flat rate for entire day work**
Note: relief driver may be required for only a half day of work on occasion and pay would be less than the full day rates advertised.

We have several runs we can train you on that are SPLIT SHIFT WORK; (paid a flat rate for entire day.)The runs start EARLY morning and you drop mail off; (time off to go home for several hours).....return run in afternoon which is usually less work than morning.
Paid training provided. Clean & well maintained vehicles provided.
Light to moderate physical work involved in sorting/loading/unloading
Must be able to pass a security clearance (criminal check)
Clean drivers abstract preferred
Flat rate varies slightly depending on distance and work load (can discuss further upon hire)
The ideal candidate would enjoy driving, be comfortable with early morning starts & would be flexible understanding there is no set schedule for this role.

Pay: $225.00-$275.00 per day
