We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious pizzas and other menu items, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. Duties
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and assembling pizzas
- Ensure all food is cooked properly, maintaining optimal temperature and texture
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure cleanliness and prevent cross-contamination
- Serve customers efficiently, taking orders accurately and providing excellent customer service
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, including equipment cleaning and sanitation
- Assist with meal preparation for other menu items as needed
- Adhere to restaurant policies regarding food handling, safety, and hygiene standards
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred but not required
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices is advantageous
- Experience in the food industry with a focus on meal preparation or pizza making is a plus
- Strong serving skills with the ability to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food handling regulations and safe kitchen practices is desirable
