We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full Cycle Part time Bookkeeper to join our team in Surrey. This position is part-time and may lead to a full-time role in the near future based on performance and company growth. This requires the successful candidate to work from our home-based office and should be comfortable working in this environment.
Responsibilities
- Full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients
- Bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable management
- Payroll processing and related remittances
- Preparation of GST/PST filings and other government returns
- Assistance with personal and corporate tax preparation
- Financial statement drafts preparation and year-end support
- General office administration and client communications
Required Qualifications
- Experience in full-cycle bookkeeping
Proficiency in:
- QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- QuickBooks Desktop
- Xero
- Knowledge of Canadian bookkeeping and tax compliance requirements
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
Preferred Credentials
- Bookkeeping, accounting, or related certification/diploma
- Experience with personal and corporate tax preparation
- CPA student or equivalent accounting background is an asset
