Michael O'Keefe Limited is seeking a competent, reliable, and hard working individual to join our growing team filling the role of both truck driver and general labourer.

Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate must be eager to learn, goal orientated, and motivated towards growth for both themselves and the company. We are looking for someone well rounded who can provide value in both truck driving and general labouring. The successful candidate must hold either a DZ or AZ licence, have experience driving (dump truck preferred), and be willing and physically able to do general labouring. Experience operating equipment or installing sewer/water pipe would be a bonus.
Above all we will prioritize candidates who demonstrate our company values and are willing to learn.
Compensation :
Depending on licence and experience, starting wage will vary from $25/hr. - $35/hr.
Performance reviews will be frequent and further wage increases are available.
Duties:
- Operate a tri-Axle dump truck productively and safely (Must have DZ. AZ is preferred).
- Operate a tandem water truck productively and safely.
- Responsible for minor maintenance and cleanliness of truck/equipment (we hold this in high regard).
- General Labour including but not limited to: grading, pipe laying and traffic control.
- Floating equipment and materials with 30 ton trailer (AZ only).
Skills:
- Commercial truck driving experience (Must have DZ, AZ is preferred).
- Construction and excavation experience.
- Critical thinking and problem solving.
- Some equipment operating experience preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
