Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan | Foran (TSX:ELD) is seeking an Accounts Payable Lead to join our growing McIlvenna Bay team. This is a full-time position based at our Saskatoon office working Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

The Accounts Payable Lead is responsible for leading the accounts payable function in an operational environment, ensuring efficient, accurate, and compliant processing of high -volume transactions while supporting business continuity and operational objectives.
This role provides coordination and leadership in the AP department, strengthens financial controls, drives process improvements, supports ERP Implementation, and partners closely with operations, procurement, supply chain, and finance teams.
The position plays a critical role in supporting operational performance through strong vendor relationships, efficient procure-to-pay processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:

Oversee end-to-end accounts payable activities including invoice and employee expense claims processing, payment execution, vendor master governance, reconciliations, and issue resolution

Ensure timely and accurate processing of high-volume transactions across the company

Manage payment cycles while supporting working capital objectives (AP Cash Forecast)

Monitor AP KPIs and service levels to improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction

Partner closely with operations, procurement, maintenance, supply chain, and finance teams to support business objectives and resolve process bottlenecks

Support site operations by ensuring critical vendors are paid accurately and on time to minimize operational disruptions

Drive improvements across procure-to-pay processes to enhance efficiency and reduce cycle times

Collaborate with operational leaders to improve purchasing compliance and financial visibility

Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with company policies, delegated authorities, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements

Support internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings

Reconcile all Accounts Payables General Ledger accounts and subledger accounts to ensure accuracy and focus on aging items.

Ensure compliance with tax requirements, payment controls, and vendor documentation standards

Support ERP implementations, upgrades, and transformation initiatives related to procure-to-pay and finance processes

Identify automation opportunities and drive digitization initiatives to improve AP efficiency and scalability

Support data integrity, master data governance, and system optimization initiatives

Develop strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient issue resolution

Manage escalated vendor disputes, payment issues, and complex transaction scenarios

Drive improvements in vendor experience and communication processes
Job Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline

7+ years of progressive experience in accounts payable, finance, or accounting functions

Demonstrated leadership experience

Experience supporting mining, manufacturing, industrial operations, or similar environments preferred

Experience working with SAP ERP system

Strong leadership and people development capabilities

Deep understanding of procure-to-pay and accounts payable processes

Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $98,000 - $110,000/year based on experience and qualifications. Annual discretionary short term incentive award at a percentage of base salary, rewarding exceptional contributions to team and company success.
