Forklift Operator (Temporary to Permanent)
About Our Client

What You Will Be Doing, as a Forklift operator:
● Operating propane and gas counterbalance forklifts (up to 8,000 lb capacity)
● Loading and unloading materials safely
- Operating Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) computer programs for shipping/recieving (will train)
● Moving materials within the facility as needed
● Following all workplace safety procedures
● Participating in a short interview and forklift test before starting
● Other duties as assigned.
What You Should Have, as a Forklift operator:
● Valid forklift certification (in-house certificates not accepted)
● Experience operating propane and gas-powered counterbalance forklifts
● Must pass a forklift test prior to placement
● Able to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs (may be required)
● Must be comfortable with repetitive and continuous movement, bending and lifting
● Previous experience working within a manufacturing/warehouse facility.
● Attention to detail and good communication skills in English.
In Return, You Will Receive:
- $24.00 per hour
- Paid weekly, every Friday.
- Opportunity for permanent hire
- 4% vacation pay – accrued and paid out when you need it
- Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 11pm and on weekends
The Shift You Will be Working is:
● 8am - 4pm
