We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Liquor Store Cashier to join our retail team. Requirements
- 19+ years of age
- Obtain a valid Serving It Right certificate
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively
- Comfortable working alone or as a part of a team
- Obtain a valid Serving It Right certificate
- Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases in a professional manner
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling, credit card transactions, and sales processing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and store displays
- Ensure compliance with all store policies regarding age restrictions and legal requirements for alcohol sales
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Assist in merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves and organizing displays as needed
- Follow time management practices to ensure efficient checkout processes during busy periods
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
