About the Role
We are looking for a dependable Delivery Driver / Lumber Yard Associate to deliver lumber and building materials to customers and job sites, while also assisting with loading, unloading, yard organization, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lumber and building materials safely and on schedule.
- Load and unload materials by hand, forklift, or other yard equipment.
- Check orders for accuracy before delivery.
- Assist customers and staff with loading, stacking, and organizing materials.
- Keep the yard, vehicles, and work areas clean, safe, and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Certificate of Conduct
- Delivery driving, construction, warehouse, or lumber yard experience is a must.
- Forklift experience is an asset; training may be provided.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials safely.
- Reliable, hardworking, and customer focused.
